Established in 1966 as Petrum Screw Products, McKellar Machine Products has evolved to meet our customers' diverse needs. Customers have seen us grow and change over the years but have always seen one thing remain constant... our commitment to precision and quality service.

Neil & Dianne McKellar purchased Petrum Screw Products in 1978, an already thriving single-spindle machine shop hosting 10 single-spindle machines. They slowly converted the business into a multi-spindle jobbing shop to meet the growing demand in the industry.

The McKellar's ran the company under its well established name in the Toronto area for 12 years after which time they felt it was beneficial to move to Burlington, Ontario. In 1990 the newly named McKellar Machine Products relocated to Burlington. Soon, the McKellar daughters—Candace and Crystal—joined the family-owned business to aid in manufacturing and management of the company.

We continue to grow internally as well as externally and employ an average of 14 employees. The McKellar management team encourages teamwork, insist on the highest standards throughout their production facility and are proud to be ISO 9001 certified. Their goal is to maintain and improve the quality of their products and services.
